What are the frames made of?
The frames are made of TR90, which is a non-toxic thermoplastic material approved by the FDA. TR90 is also used in medical products inserted in the body and in baby products, such as high quality feeding bottles. This material is hypoallergenic for kids with sensitive skin.
How durable are the frames from Tomato Glasses?
The frames have a strong resilience to physical shock and stress, which makes them a great choice for active kids. However, they are not indestructible! Glasses are a medical device and we recommend that you take off the glasses with two hands to prolong the life of the frame.
Are the frames comfortable?
Yes! They are incredibly light. The frames weigh less than 2 credit cards, and there’s also a cushion on the ear tips that matches the complex curves of the ears for extra comfort.
What do the frames come with?
The frame comes with a cleaning cloth and a spare parts kit. In the kit there is a screwdriver for any adjustments to the glasses, 2 extra spare ear tips, 2 nose pads, and a rear strap.
Do your frames come with prescription lenses?
We only sell the glasses frame. Typically, our customers will purchase the frame online and bring them to their local optometrist or optician and have them order and put in the prescription lens for them.
My kid stepped on their glasses and now they're broken! What can I do?
You're in luck! Tomato Glasses are made with all replaceable parts, so you can order the damaged part and replace it, instead of purchasing a brand new frame. Send us an email at email@example.com and let us know which part is broken and we'll check to see if we have a spare part in stock for you to purchase.
What if I need to change my order?
We process orders quickly, but we’ll do our best to accommodate any changes to your order. The best way to change an order is to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
When will there be a Tomato Glasses retailer in my area?
We will update the Store Locator on our site with details of new retailers carrying our product. You can also ask your local optician or optometrist to bring in our product for you.
What is your return policy?
We want to help you find the perfect fit for your child! We offer a 30 day return policy on unused, unadjusted frames purchased directly from our Canadian website.
How do I return or exchange a product?
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 days of purchase and we will gladly exchange the item or refund your full purchase price. Please note, you are responsible for paying return postage. You can initiate your return by contacting email@example.com.
When will my order ship?
All in-stock orders will ship out the next business day. However, shipping across Canada may take up to 5-10 business days due to COVID-19 shipping delays.
How much is shipping?
We offer free shipping for our retail customers.
Do you ship internationally?
We only ship within Canada. However, please check out our partners to find a Tomato Glasses distributor in your country.
